Once you have chosen the software, you can now move on to the registration. Registering will mean creating an account. You have to think of a unique and catchy domain name and theme for your blog. These are the first things that people will notice when they get to visit your blog, so it is highly important for you to choose a theme and name that stands out.

Before you actually begin to blog, it is essential for you to study or try to learn how to customize your site. Customizing your blog site will allow you to change such items as the author name that you want to appear on your posts, the special features of your blog like photos, blogrolls, feeds, and plug-ins. You can also choose to show comments left by your blog visitors. Take time to familiarize yourself with these features because you can use these to customize your page and make it your own.

Once you are done with these first three steps, you can begin blogging. Make sure that your topic is something that people will find interesting.  You can choose to devote your blog to topics that are close to your heart. If you are interested in photography, you can post entries that talk about issues related to photography. You can even include several samples of your favorite photos.

Blogging is an interesting and fun activity. Aside from allowing you to express your thoughts and feelings, it also helps you explore your creative side.
